Desperate audio recordings capture the immediate panic of the situation, with the operator urgently calling for assistance as their bilge pump failed, leaving them stranded and vulnerable on the water.
In the frantic distress call, the boat’s operator can be heard pleading for help, stating, “Hey, we’re at the west tip of Horn, and our bilge pump stopped working. We’re going. We’re sinking. Can you all please come?
