The customer who received the order was confirmed to be Santos’ ex-girlfriend, who confirmed she ate the fries and had no idea what had been allegedly done to them, according to authorities.
Santos filmed herself licking an order of fries – then handing it out a drive-thru window in the April 9 clip which was posted to Snapchat and Facebook.
Surveillance video also showed her spitting in the fry box, prosecutors said.
“When your girlfriend want French fries today right… she wants French fries today right,” Santos was heard saying in the nasty clip.
Santos’ ex sought to press charges after learning what had happened.
Surveillance footage from inside the McDonald’s corroborated the behavior seen in the viral video, according to prosecutors.
Santos – who was working as a night manager at the time of the alleged incident – was fired after the footage went viral.
