Pope Francis, inaction has continued to improve, as he hasn’t needed to resort to noninvasive mechanical ventilation for night BREATHING, according to the Vatican. The 88-year-old rzope, who also reduces his reliance on high-flow supplemental oxygen during the day, was advised to rest at 12 noon, according to the Holy See press office.Compatibility with double pneumonia infection, which isn’t fully eliminated but is on track to recover, was also noted.

Francis recently led a papal feast on Wednesday, marking the anniversary of his re-election as pope in 2015 and his groundwork for 12 years as pope. He is at Rome’s Gemelli hospital since February 14, after a complex lung infection that turned into pneumonia in both lungs. For the past two nights, he hasn’t needed to utilize the mechanical ventilation mask, according to sources. The Vatican is again reducing its medical updates, with the next one unspecified, as Francis continues his recovery. The final update is expected by Monday. The Vatican has not yet refused to begin his medical monitoring in the next few weeks.
