The suspect checked into a hotel in Amsterdam the day before the attack. Operators describe the incident as a series of happened-together acts committed in the area surrounding a shopping district.
On Monday, a Polish
victim was released from a local hospital. Meanwhile, two U.S. citizens remain injured in the stabbing, according to a state department spokesperson. The incident has been reported multiple times, with residents in Amsterdam assessing the situation with caution due to the disturbing nature of the act.
