A deranged vagrant who allegedly hit a helpless baby girl with a cellphone in an unprovoked attack in Manhattan is an unhinged career criminal with more than two dozen busts on his rap sheet, The Post has learned.

Marc Okon, 49, is awaiting arraignment on assault and child endangerment charges after police said he went off on a crazed rampage near Bryant Park on Saturday morning, striking the youngster with the phone and trying to hurl it at her mom in a shocking broad-daylight attack.

Okon is no stranger to NYPD handcuffs, police said Sunday.

The homeless nut has been arrested 25 times since 2018, including for forcible touching, public lewdness, menacing, grand larceny, criminal mischief and petty larceny, cops said.

The violent vagrant was busted at least three times last year, most recently in July 2025 on a public lewdness rap on the Upper West Side — and was arrested twice the month before, police said.

The most recent arrest came Saturday, when police said he approached the 39-year-old mom as she pushed her young daughter in a stroller near Sixth Avenue and West 41st Street.

Cops said the nut unexpectedly threw a phone and struck the baby girl in the arm in her stroller — then picked up the device and hurled it at the stunned mom, missing her.

Police arrested Okon at the scene, and he was awaiting arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court as of late Sunday afternoon.

The troubling attack comes after another homeless maniac slashed five people at Penn Station during a random attack, and in May, a homeless man with 22 prior arrests beat and choked another vagrant to death in the Bronx after he was woken from a nap.
