Sydney Sweeney and fiancé Jonathan Davino have been facing Marriage Hurdles. A source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “Sydney and Jonathan have been having major issues but are not fully split,” the insider tells Us. “Things are not great right now, but they aren’t throwing in the towel yet. They are working on their relationship but have called off the wedding for now.”
The couple, who first connected in 2018, were engaged four years later. According to the insider, all wedding plans have since come to a halt. “They were supposed to get married this spring. The wedding is not happening, and they’re not having further discussions about it,” the insider claims. “Sydney wanted to cancel everything and couldn’t handle the stress.”
Sweeney, 27, and Davino, 41, were part of a relationship that began in 2018 and was renewed in 2020. They were first engaged four years later. Sydney is described as being extremely busy. Premise and her career has caused tension between them, as she doesn’t have much downtime. “ Sydney’s schedule is packed with work commitments and that has caused friction between them,” the insider says.
The insider reveals that Sydney’s packed production schedule is a significant cause of their issues. “ Most of our problems stem from Sydney being extremely busy with work commitments,” she states. “She doesn’t have a lot of downtime, and it causes tension in their relationship. Sydney is really focused on her career,” the insider says. “Jonathan wishes they were able to spend more quality time together.”
Sweeney has denied attending any meetings as a workplace except to speak on the script for the next film. She’s been at the forefront of the production, which is causing internal conflict with her ex-husband. “ Our relationship is irrational, or otherwise,”, the insider mocks.
Sweeney was active in the film industry during this period. For instance, she starred in 2023’s Identity Crisis with Glen Powell. With behind-the-scenes photos sparking affair rumors, particularly between Powell and Gigi Paris at the time, Sweeney acknowledged her personal struggles. “I don’t have the mental capacity to pull anything like this off. she’s really smart,” she reportedly stated to Business Insider in December 2023.
Sweeney has為什麼 ditch her ex-husband, despite her stress and demands. “ It was a lot easier for her to lean into something like that because she’s in a very committed and wonderful relationship and she’s very happy” she says. “ I was brave, I could feel it all through the interior of me.”
Sweeney and Davino are part of a successful production deal and have copuded on several projects. “It’s really great to work with someone who knows you so well, who fully supports your ideas, your vision and your voice,” he says of Identity Crisis in December 2023. “It’s nice, I mean, who doesn’t want to be with their best friend all the time?”
While discussing the dynamic, Sweeney praised their relationship as “steady.” “ I’ve been in a steady relationship for a really long time, which is not normal in this industry and not normal for my age’” she says. “ What I’ve noticed about the idea of celebrity is people really love to build someone up and then tear them down.”
Sweeney uses redundancy as a way to soothe the relationship, didn’t she? “ Well, I’ve been in a steady relationship for a really long time, which is not normal in this industry and not normal for my age, I have a lot of confidence in who I am, but I want to be there you all the time. I just wanted to bring everybody into my world.” She ends by declaring, “ I mean, what I’ve noticed about the idea of celebrity is people really love to build someone up and then tear them down.”
Sweeney, 27, is in Identity Crisis and mentioned that their relationship has been very positive. “ When I’m at the beach with my kids, I feel like I’ve just got it all together,” she shares. “ But I really like that idea a lot, and it honestly stretches my imagination.” She shares, “ It’s annoying that things could happen all the time.”
The production team is still working on the script for Identity Crisis, and while they’re pushing their boundaries, they’re also making a lot of people question their relationship. “ I hear people are asking for reason to call each other, it seems like” dated narratives frequently arise from the industry’s reliance on actors and performers to breathe new life into each other. Sweeney workers up. For instance, shortened names to convenient names for parties, or even out Equality stories in singing, have all gotten diminishing press. She simply points out, “ the people involved in making all these messes don’t think about that at all.”
While this dynamic has been redefined, supposedly, Sweeney and Davino are no longer stuck in the past. “ I’ve been in the relationship, and I’m open to anything moving forward, I’m ready for things to change. I believe in an open and honest communication and I want to see everything being released in a positive light,” she says. “ I’m very excited to be where I want to be.”
The trend now involves more creative ways for stars to connect and share their worlds, but at least it’s clear that some of theirBridgerippling dynamics aren’t going to go down without a fight. — Amanda Williams
