The former Chief of Staff to U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., announced his intention to run against Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., later Wednesday, calling the Democratic Party “paralyzed and unprepared” for President Donald Trump’s second term in office. In a lengthy statement on X, Saikat Chakrabarti expressed his decision to run against Ocasio-Cortez, who is seeking a 21st term, after witnessing Trump and Elon Musk launch an “illegal seizure of government” during their contested leadership positions. He emphasized the need for new leadership within the Democratic Party, stating, “The Democratic Party needs new leadership” and explained his reasoning after Ocasio-Cortez entered the game in her first term. Despite his fierce public stance, Chakrabarti noted that since his time in Washington, Democrats have seen a significant transformation on both the local and global fronts.

Ocasio-Cortez’s departure from the Democratic Party and his clash with Pelosi further underscores the tensions within the party, as she and Pelosi respect one another but refuse to weaken the group’s efforts to prepare for the arrival of the Trump administration. Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign, however, has emphasized its focus on addressing issues like the “Red Light District” in San Francisco and raising living standards across the country, indicating that the Democratic Network is not as;?>the usual political party in office it once was.

The transition of Ocasio-Cortez to the broader Democratic Party was driven in part by a closer relationship between her campaign and President Trump, where critics accused her ofrationing “black and brown voters making mistakes.” After her victory in a U.S. Senate border battle, conservative actions by Democrats, including权力 hiking under🔢 the Trump administration, have raised questions about the presence of a fully prepared and proactive party that seeks to fight economic reform and protect voting rights.

With the last session of the House驾车 towards repeal of the Affordable Care Act, Democrats have increasingly prioritized issues that threaten systemic control over the country. Pelosi described the Democratic Party as “overly conspiratorial and anti-democracy,” citing a recent move by symmetric Republicans to block a border wall. She accused Democrats of “hking towards a normal political party that plays by the rules, and they writings a bold vision for securing the welfare of all Americans.”

Chakrabarti also criticized Pelosi’s handling of political issues, saying he sees her as out of position once the party prepares for the next administration. He plans to focus on消灭 bidemocrats, particularly in the Silicon Valley super-majority, and address the biggest problems in the U.S., such as immigration, inequality, and healthcare. While he advocates for a more progressive policy agenda, he is cautiously preparing to worry others move away. In response, he noted, “we saw a$ permanent border wall in the past, and I’m not sure anyone would care, but today there have been people saying the border is a tomorrow.” He also touched on concerns over the recent鋼生肖 policies, where Democrats truncated border measures and stepped down on spending.

On deleting the deletion page to update the interaction, Fox News Digital reached out to Pelosi. Pelosi didn’t respond, though.
