Millie Bobby Brown, a star of Stranger Things, is celebrating four years of romance with Jake Bongiovi, a partner for whom she often says he’s her wise partner. Brown, 21, shared a video of herself being carried by her husband at a photo shoot on March 23, 2024, during Instagram Stories. The caption says, “4 years with you,” referencing the TV show “A Sunday Kind of Love” by Emma Stone and Kate Vines. Both-drop the wedge–remain “constant companions” in their relationship, according to Brown, who hinted at the possibility of an intimate moment ahead.
During the same photo shoot, Brown shared that her father, Jon Bon Jovi, has been a key part of her support system. “He’s one of the most supportive people in my life,” Brown said. “Whether it’s financially, socially, health-wise, or just in the way he treats me. He is the best in the world for me.”
Bongiovi, who shares a farm in Georgia with Brown, has also been on the red carpet for the Los Angeles screening of The Electric State earlier this month. Brown dining with Vanity Fair in a February interview described the control she feels from her/his commitment. They “ran almost together,” and “no conflicts” in their relationship.
The pair met on Instagram in 2021, but they only began spending face-to-face. Brown shared a 2023 interview with the Sunday Times, highlighting their connection. “Just real quick, share some dates and our first clues. I feel like this is not the problem,” she said. “It’s just that obviously, we both get along.”
Brown has himself moved into a casual living situation, dedicating herself to building a life outside the mainstream. “I do it for my own reasons,” she said of her farm. “Because I love it—what’s living outside the spotlight.”
Their dynamic continues despite societal expectations, as they live separately but mirror each other. “Communities of conversation, we talk our way to the world,” Brown said, reflecting on how they share ideas and.catalogies while living separately. She shared, “We were pretty united going into it. We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we’re looking for, the kind of careers we’re looking for. It’s an important decision.”
Bongiovi, known for hisBalancer and role in FILTERED, is also a fan of Brown’s work. She mentioned how soon they’re connecting on the “Smartless” podcast, with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes. Brown admitted, “When I need him, he’s always there for me. He’s such an informed mentor.”
Brown has also been actively adding to the growing family. She shared on “Smartless,” that on her way home from a lecture, Jon brings a glass of wine, and she pays it forward by sipping it with her child. Brown is grateful for Jon’s knowledge and strength.
The couple has also shared a snapshot of a late 2023 shot of Brown and Bongiovi in a public tone for Baby Sharing, with the caption, “As time goes on, we’re such a beautiful couple.” Both are under 30, marking their “break from the spotlight,” while still appearing daunting.
