Madison LeCroy’s BravoCon 2025 Absence Following Car Accident
Madison LeCroy, the beloved 35-year-old star of “Southern Charm,” was forced to cancel her scheduled appearance on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live” during BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas due to an unexpected car accident. Taking to Instagram Stories to inform her concerned followers, Madison explained that she and her team were involved in a collision while returning to their hotel on Saturday, November 15. Though the incident was described as “frightening,” she reassuringly noted that everyone walked away without injuries. “I felt so much love today and [I am] sad I won’t make it tonight,” she expressed with genuine disappointment, having clearly looked forward to connecting with fans at the special event. The accident unfortunately prevented her participation in the second of two WWHL tapings held at Planet Hollywood that day, a special episode titled “The #1 Guys and Gals In The Group” – cleverly named after Jax Taylor’s famous Vanderpump Rules boast – scheduled to air on Bravo the following Wednesday.
Despite Madison’s absence, the star-studded panel continued with impressive representation from the Bravo universe. Fellow “Southern Charm” cast members Venita Aspen, Salley Carson, Austen Kroll, and Shep Rose still participated in the taping. The episode also featured personalities from various popular Bravo shows including “Summer House” stars Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, Ciara Miller, Carl Radke, Jesse Solomon, and West Wilson. “Southern Hospitality” was represented by Joe Bradley, Michols Peña, Leva Bonaparte, and Maddi Reese, while “The Valley’s” Brittany Cartwright and Kristen Doute joined “Vanderpump Rules'” Tom Schwartz to complete the impressive lineup. Madison’s absence was certainly felt, but the strength of the Bravo community ensured the show would proceed with the same excitement and energy that fans have come to expect from these special BravoCon events.
The car accident came during what has already been an emotionally charged year for Madison. Just months earlier, in June, she and husband Brett Randle welcomed their daughter Teddi into the world prematurely at 34 weeks. This marked a beautiful addition to their family, which already included Madison’s 12-year-old son Hudson from her previous marriage to Josh Hughes. In an exclusive conversation with Us Weekly, Madison revealed the challenges they faced when Teddi was born weighing “only five pounds,” requiring an extended stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Despite these early challenges, Madison spoke with motherly pride about her daughter’s resilience: “She’s breathing on her own and hasn’t needed any oxygen or anything like that. She’s kind of a little trooper,” Madison shared. With admiration, she added that doctors “were shocked with how early she was that she was gonna be this independent,” to which the proud mom responded, “I wasn’t shocked at all.”
The journey through Teddi’s NICU stay represented one of the most challenging periods in Madison’s life, as she balanced her concern for her newborn with caring for her son Hudson and maintaining her public persona. For two weeks, the family’s routine consisted of constant trips back and forth to the hospital, an emotionally and physically draining experience that many parents of premature babies understand all too well. The emotional weight of having a child in medical care while trying to maintain normalcy for the rest of the family exemplifies the strength Madison has demonstrated throughout her time in the public eye. Finally, in mid-July, Madison was able to share the joyful news that their family was complete again as little Teddi was cleared to come home. “We’re finally home… all together,” she announced on July 13, her words conveying the profound relief and happiness that only comes after enduring such uncertainty.
Madison’s heartfelt social media post about bringing Teddi home captured the emotional culmination of their NICU journey. “After 2 weeks of back and forth to the NICU, today we brought our sweet Teddi girl home and I truly don’t have the words (but I’ll try),” she wrote, proceeding to paint an intimate picture of their reunited family. She described watching Hudson hold his baby sister and seeing Brett embrace his role as father to their daughter with boundless love. Most poignantly, she shared the simple yet profound joy of “standing in my doorway with my arms full and my heart even fuller,” adding, “this is it. This is the life I’ve prayed for, dreamed of, and now finally get to live. She’s home, we’re whole, and I’ve never felt more at peace.” These words resonated deeply with her followers, many of whom have followed Madison’s journey from her early days on “Southern Charm” through her wedding to Brett in Mexico in November 2022 and now into this new chapter of motherhood.
As Madison recovers from the car accident and focuses on her growing family, fans can look forward to seeing more of her and the entire “Southern Charm” cast when season 11 premieres on Bravo on Wednesday, November 19, at 9 p.m. ET. For those who miss the broadcast or wish to revisit favorite moments, episodes will be available to stream the following day on Peacock, which also hosts previous seasons of the show. Madison’s journey – from reality TV personality to wife and mother of two – continues to evolve in ways both challenging and rewarding. Her transparency about life’s unexpected turns, whether they be premature births or car accidents, has endeared her to fans who appreciate her authenticity. While the BravoCon incident prevented her from connecting with fans in person, her ongoing presence on “Southern Charm” ensures that viewers will continue to follow along with the next chapters of her Southern journey.
