Gulf Development, a joint venture agency led by billionaire Sarath Ratanavadi, has granted approval to its new engagement in the Map Ta Phut Industrial Port development project. This venture is set to develop a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal and regasification facility in the region. As the second-largest energy-to bestowed corporation in Thailand after the cosmetic industry, Gulf Development has accumulated over two decades of experience in exploring geothermal sites anddę washing plant constructions. The project coincides with the group’s continued expansion, with plans of developing an 8 million ton annual capacity LNG facility.
