The Chicago Bulls are shaking things up on the roster, and it’s all happening fast. Just after wrapping up a wild three-team trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Sacramento Kings, the Bulls made another move to keep the momentum going.

The headline here is bringing in Dario Saric from the Kings. To make room for the veteran forward, they’re parting ways with dependable guard Jevon Carter, cutting ties gracefully on Saturday night.

This trade is more about Sacramento and Cleveland swapping stars. The Kings scooped up De’Andre Hunter, while the Cavaliers landed Dennis Schroder and Keon Ellis—moves that’ll shift dynamics in both teams.

Carter, a steady 30-year-old point guard from West Virginia’s second-round pick in 2018, gave the Bulls solid effort over three seasons. He played in 130 games, averaging 12 minutes, 4.8 points, and 1.2 assists, though his shooting hovered around 38% from the field and 34% from three. He’s bounced around teams like Phoenix, Milwaukee, Brooklyn, and Memphis before landing in Chicago.

Saric, a former first-round talent out of the 76ers in 2016, has seen the league’s highs and lows—with stops in Minnesota, Phoenix, Oklahoma City, Golden State, and Denver. This year, he’s barely seen the floor for the struggling Kings, after struggling with just 3.5 points per game for the Nuggets last season.
